Chris Braun
With a musical background that includes playing classical guitar and singing in punk rock bands, Chris Braun is not your typical DJ. Having only started spinning four years ago, playing at house parties and small local bars in his home country Australia, he is quickly moving up the ranks and establishing himself as one of the most unique and diverse up and comers on the scene today.
The first club he played for in London was the well known Platform 12, warming up for Kid Kenobi, (Australia’s biggest breaks DJ). This was just the beginning. From there Chris continued playing at various London venues including Brixton Jamm, The White House and The Old Queens Head, before gaining a residency at the north London club night PULP.
Playing for PULP and Platform 12 has given Chris the opportunity to really develop his own sound which includes everything from minimal techno to breaks, as well as meet and play alongside some of the best DJ’s and producers London has to offer.
The highlight of Chris’ career so far has been playing a set at Club Savannah in Ibiza, and with upcoming gigs in Canada and the Key in London’s Kings Cross, Chris Braun is definitely a name to keep your eye on.
